Bella Mikula is an American child social media star who has her own Instagram and TikTok profiles, run by her parents, TikTok stars Destiny Akyla and Damaury Mikula. She has also been appearing on the social media posts of her parents since her birth. Her mother documented her life as a teen parent on the YouTube channel DestinyAkyla, while her father did the same on the channel Kid Maury.
Career
While both of Bella Mikula’s parents are popular social media stars, they started out posting on social media in around 2020, when Bella was already born. As such, she has been appearing on her parents’ pictures and videos since she was a baby and gained popularity along with them. Her father Damaury started uploading on his YouTube channel Kid Maury with the video, Get to know me video, in June 2020, while her mother Destiny’s first TikTok was in September 2020 and first video, A day in our Life, on her channel DestinyAkyla (previously known as Lifewith Destiny), was in October 2020. That same month, Bella also got her own TikTok profile, @superiorbabybella, run by her father. He mostly shares videos about her milestones, like crawling and walking, on her profile.
Family Life
Bella Mikula, full first name Isabella, was born to TikTok stars Destiny Akyla aka Ll_destinny, and Damaury Mikula. Another TikToker, Devron Harris, is her uncle. Both her parents were only 16 when they conceived her. They knew each other from middle school, but later lost touch before reconnecting on Instagram. They started chatting and later met at a party, following which they hooked up. Although they were not in touch after that, Destiny contacted Damaury a few months later to reveal that she was pregnant. He was in denial initially and blocked her listening to friends’ advice. She then informed all his relatives about the child and his parents were furious while his older brother stopped talking to him. Although he was not there for Destiny’s baby shower or gender-reveal events, some of his family members were there. He eventually got to acknowledge the fact that the child was his by the time she was about seventh months pregnant. Bella was born when her mother was a few weeks short of her 17th birthday and her father was just a couple months past his 17th birthday.
Damaury made sure to get a DNA test done to confirm she was his child a few weeks after her birth. After learning the baby was his, he started to be there for her any time it was required, which also brought him and Destiny closer and put a rift between him and his then-girlfriend, leading to their breakup. He and Destiny often met up to spend time with Bella together and even started to live together at one point. They made several videos together that can be found on both their channels. While they are not together anymore, they continue to co-parent Bella and regularly appear in videos together.
