Zach King is an American social media personality and TikTok star. Famous for his “digital magic tricks,” he has amassed millions of followers on the platform, becoming the sixth most-followed creator on TikTok. He also runs a YouTube channel where he hosts challenge videos, magic videos, and short films for millions of subscribers. Popular on Instagram as well, he has millions of followers on the platform.


Zach King started out in 2008 when he launched a website named The aim of the website was to provide helpful tutorials on how to use Final Cut Pro, a video-editing software. The following year, he created a YouTube channel named ‘FinalCutKing’ where he began posting tips and tricks related to Final Cut Pro. He later started posting comedy skits which grew fairly popular on YouTube.

He found his true fame in September 2013 when he joined Vine. He started sharing carefully edited videos that seemed like magic tricks. This new flavor of “magic” quickly turned him into a viral Vine celebrity. He also launched his second YouTube channel where he began his Vine-inspired content. After Vine closed down, Zach King moved to TikTok where he earned his place among the most-followed creators on the platform.

In 2016, he made his silver screen debut in the animated comedy film ‘Zootopia.’ He voiced ‘Muzzled Wolf’ in the film. Speaking of films, he has also directed several short movies such as “Zach King's the Magical Night Before Christmas,” “A Magician Home Alone,” “First to the Gate,” “Viking Academy,” and “Would You Fire Me For This?”

Personal Life

Zach King grew up with 3 younger sisters. He attended Biola University where he majored in Cinema and Media Art. He married Rachel Holm in 2014 and welcomed their son Liam in 2018. The following year, they adopted another son named Mason. In 2023, the couple was blessed with a daughter named Emerson.

In 2016, he and his wife competed in the twenty-eighth season of the American reality television show ‘The Amazing Race 28.’ The couple completed 6th in the show.


He was homeschooled by his mother.

Zach is a devoted Christian and reads parts of the Bible every morning.

He is ambidextrous.

He is a recipient of several honors and awards including the Shorty Award, “Critic's Choice Award, and 2 Streamy Awards.

In January 2014, he made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
