PatD Lucky is an American social media star, comedian and aspiring actor who gained
popularity for portraying various characters like Lucky, KO, Best Friend, Ms.Lucky, P,
and Grandma Lucky in his comedy skits. He had originally gained fame on Vine and is
active on most social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and
Twitter (now X). He also has a separate Instagram profile for his two dogs, Bubba and

Early Life

Although PatD Lucky was not very much interested in education, he managed to get
good grades. He learned to be responsible participating in sports like baseball and
football. He was inspired to become a firefighter by the local firefighter who often
responded when his brother suffered from seizures. He tried to get into EMT school
after graduation, but was denied three times before being accepted. During his early
career, he served as a PE coach after school, worked with mentally challenged kids,
was a manager at a Dunkin' Donuts and also worked as a patient transport supervisor in
a hospital.

Career

PatD Lucky, who was voted the class clown in his senior year in school, started to showcase his comic talent through videos recorded through his iPad when he was attending EMT school. He joined Twitter in 2011 and began posting videos on Instagram in August 2013. He had initially gained popularity on the now defunct platform Vine before joining YouTube in 2013. His first video on his channel was uploaded in 2015. In his comedy skits, he often used props to play various characters, like Lucky, KO, Best Friend, Ms.Lucky, P, and Grandma Lucky, all inspired by his friends and family. He soon became friends with Cornell Ross and Matthew Raymond, who were also making similar funny content for social media, and they decided to move to Los Angeles together.

Once there, he had reached out to a couple companies, including Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network, but when nothing worked out, he began “hustling” on his own. He was already an established star by the time social media blew out during the Covid-19 lockdowns. An aspiring actor inspired by Eddie Murphy, Tyler Perry, Adam Sandler, Will Smith, Jim Carrey and Johnny Depp, he not only dreams of becoming an actor, but also wants to set up his own movie production house, Lucky Productions. He is also interested in being a part of sketch series like Key & Peele

Family Life

PatD Lucky has four sisters and a brother on his mother’s side and two brothers on his father’s side. His single mother worked hard to provide for him and his five siblings. He was “spoiled” as the youngest of six children and had gained a reputation as a troublemaker, which often got him beaten up by his mother. He was heavily influenced by his baseball coach (who later became his godfather), and called him and his wife dad and mom. He even changed his surname to that of his coach when he was 18.
