Career
Oscar Rosenstroem discovered musical.ly when he was very young, about 13 years of age. He gained popularity on his profile @oscarrosenstroem in the latter half of 2015 after one of his videos, a lip-sync to the song She Bad by Cameron Dallas, went viral on the platform. He also made a video to One Direction’s acoustic version of Perfect. His videos were particularly notable because he often used literal actions as per the words of songs he was lip-syncing to. His lip-sync and comedy videos quickly earned him a large fan base surpassing one million. Several fans have also made duet videos with him on the platform. He was often compared to popular social media stars like Jacob Sartorius and Cameron Dallas, but has managed to curve out his own niche on the platform. Family Life
Oscar Frederik Rønnow Rosenstrøm grew up in Denmark alongside a younger brother and a twin sister. He often featured his sister Emilie in his TikTok videos. His sister tragically passed away in January 2018. While he doesn’t mention his parents much, he once posted a video with his mother on his Instagram profile.
