Nicho Jakub is an American social media star best known for his TikTok profile @nichojakub on which he rose to prominence by primarily posting lip-sync videos. He now also posts various other types of content including dance videos, funny skits and vlog type videos. He also posts swimming, surfing and biking photos on his Instagram profile with the same handle. He was briefly active on YouTube as a child. He is professionally represented by the California based talent agency Henson Management.
Early Life
Nicho Jakub once shared a picture from Sentinel High School in Missoula, Montana on his Instagram. At school, he loves to play football and also participates in running and swimming.
Career
Like most people his age, Nicho Jakub began using TikTok after watching videos by one of his friends on the platform in September 2020. He started out thinking that it would be a fun hobby to spend time on, but was soon hooked. In his first video, he could be seen wrestling with his dog. He soon started posting lip-sync videos and dance videos, and also often posted funny skits. In one of his earliest lip-sync videos, he could be seen performing to music by Lil Ronny. In another video, he lip-synced to the song One More Night by Maroon 5. He is also active on his Instagram with the handle @nichojakub, on which he posts outdoor adventure photos, apart from selfies.
He joined YouTube with the channel Nicho jakub (@nichojakub9958) on December 6, 2015 and uploaded his first video, titled December 19, 2015, on that very date. In the video, he could be heard energetically singing a made up song. In the following weeks, he uploaded several more vlog type videos, including one in which he promised to do the cinnamon challenge if he got 10 likes in the current video. He also made a video of him dancing in front of the camera, but stopped uploading after posting the video Dog attack on February 26, 2016. Much later in December 2020, he made another eponymous YouTube channel with the handle @nichojakub2203, and although he has managed to amass a few thousand subscribers to the channel, he has not uploaded anything on it yet.
Family Life
While not much is known about Nicho Jakub’s family, in one of his TikTok videos from December 2020, he featured his grandmother, who danced with him for the video.
