Gabbie Egan is an American social media star and entrepreneur best known for sharing her everyday experiences, humorous skits, and entertaining memes on her TikTok profiles, @bbyegan_ and @gabbieegan, and her friendship with Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans. She and Evans previously co-hosted the Girl S#!t podcast. She later launched her own tie-dye clothing store Dicey Dyes in Kentucky in 2023.

Early Life

Gabbie Egan, who attended a public school, fell for a 16-year-old at the age of 13, when she was in the seventh grade, and became pregnant. She shifted to homeschooling in eighth grade and gave birth to a boy in January 2014. She worked in the evenings and weekends, and returned to public school for the 9th grade. She later worked in the United States Army as a diesel mechanic for a little over two years.

Career

Gabbie Egan has been active on TikTok since 2018 and became known for sharing her everyday experiences, life story, and dancing and lip-sync videos on her profile @bbyegan. Gabbie, who was a 19-20-year-old stay-at-home mother to four kids for about a year during the Covid-19 pandemic, started posting more consistently on TikTok in 2020 out of boredom. She further gained recognition for her close friendship with Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, with whom she co-hosted the now-defunct Girl S#!t podcast in 2021. On the podcast, they connected over their shared experience of being teen moms.

Gabbie has always loved to tie-dye and regularly wore tie-dye pieces. One day, she and her mother-in-law made tie-dye shirts for fun, which she shared on her TikTok. However, many of her viewers became interested in buying the pieces. She sought out the best dye brands and sorted out the best way to pursue this venture, following which she turned her garage into a tie-dye studio and started selling her products online. After completing over 30k orders within a year-and-a-half, she rented a place in Ludlow, Kentucky and opened the Dicey Dyes storefront on March 10, 2023.

Controversy

Gabbie Egan made news headlines for being arrested on July 24, 2021 on battery and interference charges after she tried to kick several officers “in the testicles” during a trip to Las Vegas with her husband Cody to celebrate their three-year wedding anniversary. Following the arrest, she took to Instagram to hint that her drink might have been spiked, but latter acknowledged that her “vibe has definitely been off this past week” and that she needed to take “a step back” to work on herself.

Family Life

While Gabbie Egan raised her first child as a single mother, her family and friends were very supportive and helped her adjust to the situation. She later dated a guy called Cody, who also served in the military and is currently her husband. The two now share three more kids, including a daughter named Zelma and two children from Cody’s past relationships. After becoming pregnant with her daughter, she left the military and moved to Northern Kentucky.
