Ari Gameplays, real name Abril Abdamari Garza Alonso, is a Mexican Internet celebrity, streamer, YouTuber, TikToker, glamour model and cosplayer who is one of the most-followed Twitch streamers. Apart from streaming on Twitch, she shares gaming and other videos on YouTube. She is also active on various other social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram, and is a MiPriv creator who made news headlines for purchasing a Mercedez-Benz truck solely with income from her OnlyFans account.
Early Life
Ari Gameplays became interested in video games early on and even became an expert in many games. She attended High School #7 of the UANL before studying at the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, but she dropped out after achieving success online.
Career
Ari Gameplays was still studying at the National Autonomous University of Mexico when she first joined YouTube in July 2014. She initially posted tutorials and topics of interest to female audiences, but soon decided to focus on vlogs and Let's Plays of popular games. She has made videos about games such as Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V, Fortnite, Overwatch and Planet Coaster. Nevertheless, her channel remained a variety channel as she often posted popular YouTube content like unboxing and review videos, reaction videos, shopping hauls, food content and challenges. She later created a second channel titled ARI in February 2019 to post about everything but gaming, which is extensively covered in her main channel, but has only uploaded a few videos on the channel so far.
In 2016, she started streaming on Twitch and was able to quickly establish herself in the male-dominated field of gaming content. She even became the second most followed female streamer with around 1.35 million followers. She participated in a Fortnite Battle Royale tournament hosted by El Rubius in June 2018 and was a luxury guest at The International 2019 Dota 2 tournament in La Paz, Bolivia. She was banned on Twitch in 2019 because of sexually suggestive content, following which she expressed her dissatisfaction over not being able to collaborate with her husband JuanSGuarnizo. She subsequently moved to Facebook Gaming, but was able to return to Twitch about two years later.
In June 2022, she participated in the La Velada del Año 2 boxing event hosted by Ibai Llanos, where she finished as the champion. Also that month, she launched the limited edition clothing collection MadKat X Ari Gameplays with El Rubius. Apart from Twitch and YouTube, she has gathered massive followings on TikTok and Instagram by sharing sensual clips and snaps with fans.
Family Life
Ari Gameplays was born as Abril Abdamari Garza Alonso in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, but was raised in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Her father's name is Abelardo and her mother's name is Adriana. She has an older sister named Amairani Garza Alonso, who is also a popular YouTube gamer known as Ama Blitz.
In 2015, she started dating Colombian streamer Juan Sebastián Guarnizo, aka JuanSGuarnizo, and they got married in October 2019.
