Victoria Villarroel Gamero is a Venezuelan Instagram star based in the United States who is best known for serving as the former personal assistant to Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Starting out as an intern at Jenner Communications, she became personal assistant to the sisters and later an executive assistant for their businesses. She left the job in 2019 to pursue her own social media career.
Early Life
As a child, Victoria Villarroel Gamero wanted to be like Lauren Conrad. She attended Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. While studying there, she interned with Vogue and Teen Vogue.
Career
Victoria Villarroel Gamero was still studying in school when she started working as an intern for Jenner Communications in 2012. After completing her graduation at FIDM, she lived in Madrid for a year before returning to Los Angeles. She again asked Jenner Communications for a job and was subsequently hired as an office manager. She happened to be in the right place at the right time when Kylie needed help a few weeks later. She then started working for Kylie as a house manager, from where she became the personal manager for both Kylie and Kendall before eventually becoming an executive assistant. In that position, she was responsible for arranging Kylie’s travel for appearances at events like the Met Gala prior to the launch of Kylie Cosmetics.
During her appearance on the Girl Cult podcast in April 2019, she revealed that she had stopped working for Kylie two weeks ago. While she confirmed that she continued to share a very close relationship with Kylie after working together for five long years, as for her reasons for quitting, she revealed that she wanted to find her passion. Although she remained unclear about her future goals on the podcast, it was soon reported that wanted to leverage her massive social media following, particularly her 900k followers on Instagram, and turn it into a fulltime gig as an influencer. She had started posting on her Instagram profile @victoriavillarroel on September 8, 2016.
Family Life
Born in Venezuela, Victoria Villarroel Gamero has been to Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and Texas with her family before she moved to Los Angeles on her own to attend the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She has a sister named Sofia who appeared alongside her in a photography spread in Vogue Italia in February 2019.
She was in a relationship with soccer player Marco Lobo for five years when they got engaged in December 2016, with Kylie helping with the proposal by arranging a heart-shaped platform decorated with candles on the top of a hill during the sunset. She also tricked Victoria into believing that they were going on a road trip to take her to the location in Malibu, California, while also capturing the adventure through her Instagram and Snapchat story. Unfortunately, Victoria and Marco separated latter the same year as she was “just not ready”. She started dating Jonathan dos Santos in early 2020.
