Lauren Gibson is a social media influencer who is best known for her enormous following on the TikTok handle @llaurengibson. She has been active on Instagram with the same handle for much longer, although it was later changed to @laurengibson. While growing up, Lauren Gibson learnt to dance and participated in gymnastics. She later played softball in school.
Career
Lauren Gibson initially started posting dance and gymnastics pictures and videos on her Instagram profile @llaurengibson. She also often posted pictures of herself working out at the gym or playing softball. A lot of her pictures were from the beach, pointing to her love for the seas. In one of her early posts, she shared a picture of her jumping midway in the air and mentioned that she loved cliff jumping. A music buff, she has shared several pictures while visiting different editions of music festivals like the EDC, Stagecoach and Revolve. A talented dancer, she also posted a video reel in collaboration with two popular dancers, Vik White and Miranda Derrick. However, she mostly posted selfies and fashion pictures, which made her a darling of popular brands, especially after she became an internet celebrity on TikTok.
Lauren, who joined TikTok also with the handle @llaurengibson, gained popularity on the platform thanks to her dance and lip-sync videos. As such, she has used music by popular artists like Bruno Mars and Lil Tecca for her videos. One of her videos set to the Pitbull song Hotel Room Service, posted in June 2020, was very popular. Family Life
Lauren Gibson was raised alongside three sisters: two older sisters named Megan and Natalie, and one younger sister named Cortney, who is a couple years younger than her. Her sister Megan is married to Boise State Broncos running back Skyler Seibold, who has also featured in Lauren’s early Instagram posts. While she is very close to all her sisters and regularly shares pictures with them and their families on Instagram, she is particularly fond of Natalie, whom she refers to as her “partner in crime”. She started dating Hootie Hurley in 2021, but they broke up in early 2023.
