Josie Jabs is an American social media star known for her self-titled YouTube channel where she uploads vlogs, shopping hauls, and fashion, beauty and lifestyle videos. She has made sponsored shopping haul videos for brands like Princess Polly, Zaful, Audible and thredUP. She also made travel videos from her trips to destinations in Europe and Mexico. She was sponsored by Pura Vida Bracelets for a bracelet pack.

Early Life

Josie Jabs graduated from Dodgeville High School in June 2019. She then went to college at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities to study retail merchandising at its design school, but started taking online classes after a semester before leaving altogether. She also briefly attended Southern New Hampshire University in 2021-22 before enrolling into Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to study Fashion Business Management in 2022-23. However, she eventually went back to SNHU in her senior year to pursue a degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia in 2023-24.

Career

Josie Jabs loved watching popular YouTubers like Bethany Mota and wanted to have her own channel since she was in the sixth grade. She actually started her YouTube journey in the seventh grade, but later deleted her original channel after receiving a lot of hate. She revealed this in her third video, freshmen advice and why I started youtube (Q&A!!!), uploaded in September 2018 on her new channel, which was originally created back in 2013. In the meantime, she was active on Instagram. On the new channel, she started out with vlogs, fashion videos and tutorials, and went on to make shopping hauls, lifestyle videos and more.

Her shopping hauls were so popular that she went on to make several sponsored videos for her favorite brand Princess Polly, and other brands like Zaful, Audible and thredUP. She also took a sponsored trip to Montauk, New York in August 2019 in collaboration with Pura Vida Bracelet, from which she also released a pack named after her friend in September 2020. While she also had a separate channel called Josie Jabs Vlogs, she only posted one video on it.

Family Life

Josie Jabs has two younger brothers and has featured them in her videos. While her current relationship status is not known, she once mentioned in a video that a boy had broken her heart for the third time after she brought him back into her life twice.

Struggle with Mental Health

Through her videos, Josie Jabs has opened up about suffering from depression and has mentioned using YouTube as an outlet for her feelings. She once mentioned getting hate on her new channel too, but was also getting support from positive comments and was determined to not let negativity get to her. She talked about going through heartbreak in the video where i have been and revealed trying to end her life by overdosing on her antidepressant medicine in the video why i left college. However, she also advised her fans that “nothing is worth ending your life over”.
