Career

Chinese Kitty was inspired to enter the music industry because of her parents’ involvement with the industry. At the age of 10, she had attended the birthday party of TI’s daughter, and was enamored by the celebrity lifestyle. Later, her mother introduced her to the music of Lil' Kim, which led her to discover other female rappers like Nicki Minaj. As a child, she rap battled against her siblings to hone her skills. However, before seriously involving herself in the music industry, she established herself on various social media platforms like Instagram, where she has amassed millions of followers on her @chinesekitty profile.

Chinese Kitty initially gained attention on social media as a bartender and an IT girl for her involvement in night life activities in New York City. She started out as a club starlet and entered the entertainment industry as a model before transitioning into music videos for artists like Young Dolph, Fabolous and Ludacris. She further featured on the cover of the Smooth magazine on its August 2015 edition.

As her interest in modeling decreased following the birth of her son Ashton when she was 20, she finally decided to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a rapper. Chinese Kitty was born as Taylor Hing to Chinese Nicky aka Nikhol N Hing who is a socialite and entrepreneur of Chinese-Guyanese descent. Her father, Nitti, is a music producer who worked with major artists like TI, David Banner, Yung Joc, and Jermaine Dupri. She has a son named Ashton, born in 2016.
